Fair Play
We have been allowed to hold this Cup by seeking an exemption from the Swedish Football Association. The condition for us to be able to appoint a winner is that we are organizing a Fair Play event.
We will therefore:
- Have crew at every game that focuses, among other things, on Fair Play, monitoring matches and reports to the competition management.
- Have Fair Play prizes to the team, the managers, the individual players and the audience group that performed best from a Fair
- Play perspective.
- All players posted on the list of participants for each game shall take part in the game.
- No games are decided by penalty kicks, extension of time or golden goal.
- Maximum three games per day and team.
- Players will be able to vote for the best referee.
- We will inform at the facility about what Fair Play means
- We are focusing on many different winners at the Prize Awards afterwards.
- We want to show that it is possible to compete while maintaining respect for opponents, teammates, leaders and referees.
What is Fair Play?
GICs Fair Play prize is nominated by the match crew and referee during each game of the tournament and are awarded to the player, the team, the leaders and the public group that have distinguished themselves in a Fair Play manner and contributed to a more pleasant environment on and around the pitches.
Why Fair Play?
We do this in order to highlight and demonstrate all the good examples that exist in youth football and to encourage a positive and enjoyable environment surrounding the games.
Who wins the prizes?
Each match host and referee will review the teams and the leaders after every game and nominate players individually and audiences to win Fair Play prizes.
